- LEADERSHIP -

Mandy James
Owner

Mandy started The Treehouse out of a desire to support and encourage parents during their child rearing journey. She is an army veteran and the mother of four young children.

Abby Allen
Director

Abby has been working in professional child care for 9 plus years. She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Human Development and is beginning Graduate school.

Jasmine Hadley
Assistant Director

Jasmine has a teaching assistant certificate from JCC, as well as an Associate’s degree in Human Services. Jasmine is a mother of one and has been a part of the Treehouse family since May of 2015, when the full time center first opened it’s doors.


- INFANTS -

Candy Shaw
Lead Teacher

Candy Shaw – Lead Teacher
Candy ran her own in-home daycare for 8 years. She received her Child Development Associate (CDA) Credential in June of 2016. Candy also coaches cheer-leading at Thousand Island School. She puts so much love and positivity into everything she does! Candy has worked for the Treehouse since May of 2015, when the full-time center first
opened.

Terrah Widrick
Assistant Teacher

Terrah attended the early childhood education program through BOCES. She is also a mother of one. Terrah has worked for the Treehouse since April of 2016.

Aleah LaFlame
Teacher's Aid

Aleah is currently furthering her education with hopes of becoming a nurse. She has spent a lot of time volunteering. Aleah has been with the Treehouse family since February 2017.


- TODDLERS -

Mary Ellen Copper
Lead Teacher

Mary Ellen has been working in early childhood education for almost seven years. She loves working with children (especially toddlers) and watching them learn. She just recently finished her bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education through Grand Canyon University.

Lisa Seager
Assistant Teacher

Lisa Seager has a BS in Psychology and plans to get an Associates in Early Childhood Education. She loves children and is honored to teach young minds.

Autumn Niswonger
Teacher's Aid

Autumn’s dream is to become a social worker and work with a child adoption agency. She also hopes of having her own family someday.

Alesha Perry
Teacher's Aid

Alesha Perry is from Pennsylvania and  a mother of one. She hopes to finish her degree in early child hood education. Alesha enjoys to coach cheerleading and to stay motivated.


- THRIVE -

Katie Loveland
Lead Teacher

Katie received her Associate’s degree in Early Childhood from JCC and her bachelors degree in Psychology and Sociology from The University of Albany. Katie is currently pursuing her Master’s degree in Childhood Education.  

Kate Aldrich
Co-Lead Teacher

Kate graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Human Services from Canisius College and is currently working on her Masters in Education from Potsdam. Kate played soccer at Canisius and coached at JCC and with youth groups at the Y and other local clubs.

Maria Reyes
Assistant Teacher

Maria has a true love for helping others, especially children. She dreams of someday going back to school to get a degree in early childhood. Maria became a part of the Treehouse family in March of 2017.


- SPROUTS -

Kirsti Henry
Lead Teacher

Kirsti obtained her bachelor’s degree from Mercer University in GA and has been teaching at The Treehouse since 2016. Kirsti and her husband, Josh, have 2 adorable young boys. In her free time, she enjoys reading and baking

Sarah Fowler
Assistant Teacher

Sarah is a mother of a beautiful baby girl. She and her husband are moving this spring, and she plans on going back to school to get her Bachelors degree.

Brittni Lingley
Assistant Teacher

Brittni received an associate’s degree in Childhood Education in the spring of 2018. Brittni’s end goal is to one day become high school English teacher or teach English at the college level. Unfortunately, Brittni will be leaving the Treehouse family in the Spring of 2019, as her husband is active duty military and has a new station to report to.


- FLOATS & DROP IN -

Gabbie Baker, Drop In 4PK
Lead Teacher & Office Admin

Gabbie is the mother of two wonderful boys, who are full of life. She has an Associates Degree in Early Childhood Education and has worked with children most of her adult life. Gabbie joined the Treehouse family in the Fall of 2017.

Kaeley Parker
Float

Kaeley has babysat, nannied, and volunteered within the church’s children ministry for about 10 years. She has a very calm way with the children and they always seem to love her. Kaeley started out working for the Treehouse full time center when they first opened in 2015 and has since returned to us! 

Yvonne Story
Float & Drop In Staff

Yvonne is from Atlanta, Georgia and recently attended Augusta Tech for a degree in Early Childhood Care and Education. She hopes to pursue further education in her field as well as go to school for nursing. She recently moved to the area with her husband and they are currently stationed at Fort Drum. She is excited to join the team and share her caring and loving personality. 

Leah Beyer
Drop In Manager

Leah was theatre major at William and Mary (’14) and is now highly involved with local companies.  Before working at the Treehouse, Leah was a nanny as she has always had a passion for children. She is from all over (Navy kid) and is still involved with the military through her fiancé at Fort Drum. Leah hopes to one day own her own Drop-In Center or a Kid’s Theatre program!!

Breana Johnson
Drop In Shift Supervisor

Breana has always enjoyed working with children. She received her Associates from JCC and plans to transfer to Binghamton to continue her nursing education. In the future, Breana wants to be a nurse practitioner and work in the upstate area.

Carley Lillie
Drop In Staff

Carley is a recent graduate from South Jefferson and is looking to go to college in the spring to become a pediatrician. She has spent most of her life caring for children and is excited to further her professional career in childcare here at The Treehouse.

Jessica Rhoads
Drop In Staff

Jessie is from originally from the Philadelphia area, but recently moved to Watertown with her husband (as of May ’19). She attends JCC for Zoo Technology and hopes to one day become an education curator at a zoo in order to run programs to teach children about animals and conservation.
